COUNTY LEITRIM
Leitrim is a county in the Republic of Ireland situated on the north west part of the island of Ireland. The county forms part of the province of Connaught and has a population of approximately 29,000. The main town in the county is Carrick-On-Shannon. The name of the county is derived from the Irish for ‘Grey Ridge’ (Liath Druim).
The county is filled with lush green fields and the views onto the countryside and lakes are prime examples of the beauty of Ireland.
